Your Instructor,

Hey there! I'm Bianca Kisselburg, MS, LPC-S, RPT, ICST-P

As the founder of the Playful Connections Sandtray Institute, where I serve as a Licensed Professional Counselor, Registered Play Therapist, and Internationally Credentialed Sandtray Therapist - Provider. Our training emphasizes attachment theory, neuroscience, and both person-centered and experiential therapy.


My passion for working with children and families has always driven me to help enhance their lives. While I have experience as a therapist across all age groups, I have focused extensively on children, particularly those in therapeutic foster care.

Time and again, I have encountered therapists who express uncertainty about how to engage with children, especially those from more challenging backgrounds. My deepest aspiration is to equip fellow therapists with the tools and resources they need to feel confident and successful when working with these populations and beyond.

Playful Connections Sandtray Institute has been approved by APT as an Approved Continuing Education Provider, #21-648. Programs that do not qualify for APT Credit are clearly identified. Playful Connections Sandtray Institute is soley responsible for all aspects of the programs.

  • Refund Policy

    ICST PROGRAMS: Payments made within the first 30 days are completely refundable. If refunds are requested after first 30 days after initial purchases, all monies paid will be credited towards future sandtray trainings with the facility.
